Information: David bought his first rental property, a triplex, after getting out of the Navy in 1971. He moved to Kentucky in the mid 70’s where he had an automotive business and a motorsports production company. After moving to Jacksonville in 1992, he again got back into rental housing business. Putting a down payment on a few rental duplexes and letting others pay off the note looked like a good retirement plan. He has been a participant the last five years on the MrLandLord.com annual landlord conference cruise and has been recognized as one of the top contributors to the MrLandLord.com Q&A discussion board. Today he tends to his rentals, buys and sells a few properties, and moderates the JaxREIA Landlord Networking Group.
